La Femme d’Aspirant: The Hopeful Woman

Why did I choose this as the title of my blog page? Because I feel that this is something that our society is seriously lacking in this day and age.

It’s not hard to see why; the economy is troublesome, our government is failing us, the cost of living is going up, and the future appears to be uncertain. But in all reality the future is no more certain or uncertain than it has ever been, for things of this world have always been temporal.

Where is our hope?

Our hope is in God.

Put your hope in Yahweh, be strong, let your heart be bold, put your hope in Yahweh. Psalm 27:14

So now, Lord, what am I to hope for? My hope is in you. Psalm 39:7

Hope springs afresh for the weak, and wickedness must shut its mouth. Job 5:16

I am no saint. If St. Paul was chief among sinners, then I must be the grand pooh-bah of the chiefs with all my failings. I am struggiling on this journey called "life" just as we all are.
It is my aspiration that with this blog I’ll discuss what’s going on in my life, my struggles, thoughts, feelings, and how I struggle with and continue to have hope. God willing, it will help you in your search for hope in a hopeless world.

Sometimes the blogs may be spiritual in nature, other times political, and sometimes they may just be ramblings off the top of my head. At any rate, I hope you find it entertaining.

Be well,
Maureen
